Eddie is primarily a commercial editor with 25 years of experience in the advertising world. He brings his background of fine arts, music and design to the table for ad agencies and their clients to form short, powerful stories shot by A-list directors and production companies to help businesses and organizations grow. In recent years, Eddie has completed many projects that, besides national and international broadcast, are also projected in social media content, multi-screen media such as in stadiums and the famed One Times Square boards. Putting storytelling first, he works with directors, creative directors, animation and CG teams to construct award-winning campaigns.
Eddie has cut hundreds of spots for big brands such as Coca-Cola, Delta Airlines, AT&T, Subway, Toyota, Ford, Pennzoil, Bridgestone, Baskin-Robbins, Capital One, Comcast, Corona Beer, ESPN, Google, Home Depot, US Navy, Verizon, TaxSlayer, Yellawood and many, many more.
Eddie honed his chops as the first in-house, ad agency editor in the Southeast. That gave him a leg-up on how the agency/client relationships work and what creatives look for and value for their productions. After building a team of editors there and generating substantial revenue for the company, he branched out and cut out of other post houses. He built a loyal following of clients and in 2006, decided to build what became Jam Edit. Jam became a nationally-recognized edit boutique over those next 7 years. With its success, he drew the attention of the founders of the legendary worldwide post team, Company 3, which is now partnered with Framestore UK. The unit purchased Jam Edit to fold into their commercial wing and drive finishing work their way. The venture has become highly successful. Eddie is still cutting in his 10th year for Company 3 and had his best year yet in 2021, doubling annual revenue and winning top editing honors and Best In Show for his work on the Atlanta United FC Unity Kit project.
That and several other pieces of his best work are featured below on his current general reel. Over 30 spots of varying types of editing. On mobile, swipe left and have a look...
